A new purpose-built train maintenance facility is being built at Kangy Angy on the NSW Central Coast.

The facility will service and maintain the new fleet of Intercity trains and includes offices, amenities, staff parking and ancillary buildings.

The detailed design and construction of the new facility is being delivered by John Holland on behalf of Transport for NSW.

Roads and Maritime is upgrading the M1 Pacific Motorway between the Tuggerah and Doyalson interchanges to improve traffic flow and safety. The upgrade involves widening the motorway to provide three lanes in each direction and rebuilding the roadway to provide a smoother and more durable surface.
